Great park. Nice for a leisurely bike ride. Interesting facts on the 16 plaques inset into stones. Shame about the conservatory that the council have neglected!!

Great tribute to a forgotten time and war. Old battery for 2 x 24 lbs copper cannons from the Chrimean war. Gone due to being sold for scrap at the start of WW2. Great views down into Blackburn.
