It was closed for renovations. Web site not so obviously said closed Mondays. We had an hour-long bus ride to get there. Two days in a row! I bet it was nice, though...
Went to a restaurant on the beach and so had a nice view of the Castle Of Bodrum. Castle is lit up at night and looks really lovely.
Very, very enjoyable, advise anyone visiting Bodrum Turkey that this castle is not to be missed, you need a good 4hr plus to really get the feel of the place. Well worth it. If the weather is hot (usually isl) take plenty water.
A must see place! Great museum. There are lots of cafes and restaurants around. Try Denizciler Kahvesi, have beer and chips and enjoy the view and atmosphere.
The castle looks beautiful from the outside! It is closed or repairs until 2019 I believe.
