I recommend going for the experience, especially if you are not from Colombia. It is extremely family friendly with many things for young children to do. The food is general very good, yes other reviews have said you can find better but no where else have I seen such an extensive menu of Colombia foods in one place that are all at least good. I went with a large group and we ordered many different dishes sharing and tasting the many different Colombian foods and soups. Parents, grandparents and children all had a great time, except the one adult who wanted to leave before everyone had finished having fun. For those who want to eat and run, eat really, really slow. Plan to spend at least 3 to 4 hours for the fun of it. Yes, getting there is not a much fun but there is plenty of parking. Not sure how they could run out of space as they are huge yet I have been told it's wise to make reservations.
This restaurant is hugggggeeeee. I thought just finding the exit, I went through a lot of rooms and rooms. If you're in Bogota, I would recommend you trying this place out for lunch or dinner! It's a bit pricey for steak you get, but I wouldn't recommend the food more so than the atmosphere. Their menu is like a book. Full of a lot of options. ALOT. I can't emphasize enough how many options they have. All their rooms are adorned with a lot of decor. It seems like there's a lot going on like things you'll find in your garage but out of the chaos of all the items, they are actually strategically placed where they are. It's loud in here so be prepared to shout. They have entertainers that come to each table and perform a short song with the band that accompanies the entertainers. Really cool. It's definitely very lively in here.
If you want a dining experience unlike any other, go to Andre Carne de Res. It's way far- almost an hour outside of Bogota. Despite the distance, it is always packed. The inside looks like a giant junk shop. There is dancing and a whole lot more. The food was very good but very pricey. Still, it's worth the visit.
Expensive but worth it. Unique dinning experience. Great atmosphere along with dancing. Can't be described adequately
10 our of 10. great food and dancing we had a fantastic time. Nothing like I've see before.
