Boise Train Depot Reviews & Ratings

  • Beautifully restored. The grounds are well kept, and there are huge koi in the pond. They will take you up into the bell tower, where the view of the Capitol building and downtown is magnificent!

  • History of Old Town Boise! Read the interesting plaque near the garden. It explains the master plan of the city and how the depot and the capital building are on opposite ends of the boulevard. I was there when the depot itself wasn't open so I can't comment on the interior. The exterior was cool though and being from California I was surprised to see Spanish style architecture!

  • Great place to visit, especially on days where the museum is open. There's plenty of shade and varied scenery and feel throughout the year. One of the local go to places to get professional photos for any occasion. Also doubles as an event venue. One museum days, it's great to learn about the history and to bring the kids.

  • Beautiful views overlooking downtown Boise. Nice gardens. The depot itself is very nice inside. Cool look back at history.

  • It is an iconic landmark here in Boise. I love the old train station and the step back in time.
