Run by an international NGO Peregrine Fund, it is a functional interpretive centre established to help conserving raptors and other endangered species. An interesting place for tourists who are interested in vultures and such to get some valuable information about them. This one of a kind education centre has a very fine museum with an incredible collection of books, and artefacts that lets one have a very close look in the world of falconry. People interesting in knowing more can ask for demonstrations that are available for the tourists.

  • We are new to the area still discovering new things to do in Idaho, brought my teenagers to kill some time. It's not a very big place but the staff was pretty knowledgeable about the Birds. We stayed to see the live bird show I think it's a place for everybody and every age, places like this teaches kids and adults to appreciate nature. Most definitely visit again, next time will remember to bring a picnic.

  • I've lived right up the road from this place for a while now and had never stopped by. Recently my dad came to visit me from Philadelphia, it was his first time in Boise and going to the Birds of Prey center was first on his list of places he wanted to go. We went with my 6 year old daughter, and it was a great experience for all 3 of us. The employees are very knowledgeable, there are activities for persons of any age, and the whole experience is very interactive. This is a great, affordable thing to do for any occasion.

  • Nice place. Good exhibits. I WOULDN'T bring young kids. Even teenagers will be bored. As a 40 year old, I could appreciate the exhibits. Informational and interesting

  • My husband and I LOVED coming here! Very beautiful view of Boise when you get there. Staff was very friendly and informative. Will definitely come back next time were in town.

  • Ask for a guided tour of the Archives! This special area holds many fine surprises, especially for people familiar with the technology and culture of falconry. Really fun!
