Trattoria Del Rosso, Bologna Reviews

  • Don't get duped into going to one of the places that some people claim is the best restaurant in Bologna. If your butt is not sitting in a chair at this joint, then you're doing it all wrong. The prices are extremely reasonable for food that tastes better than anything one street over at the so-called fancier restaurants. Everything is prepared and served here properly. The food is delicious and they'll treat you very nicely perhaps; they certainly do that for me. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

  • Had a great evening out at this Trattoria that happened to be close to the hotel we were staying in. The food was really good - we had the chef's special (spaghetti) and a couple of nice desserts. The staff were unobtrusive and friendly, despite our refusal of water! Very good value for money, even given the coperto was per person and the 50cl white wine was more expensive than other places we have been.

  • The food was excellent except a little salty. Note that the prices are about 20% higher than what's listed online but still affordable.

  • If you are visiting Bologna and you want to try the real Italian pasta, this cozy restaurant is a must. They offer the best tortellini al ragù I have ever had. Also ask for the home made red wine, you can't go wrong. The staff is kind and ready to explain the menu. The price is great considering what they offer.

  • Just finished an amazing meal here. Very warm service, superb food, quiet street eating in shade .. popular with locals. Meal (main) for two drinking water came in at reasonable 30euro :)
