  • Amazing environment for learning. Things goes of it's own. Free life style with lots of culture and discipline.

  • Famous for it's fine arts and performing arts departments. A long history and rich heritage site of India due to the contribution of Gurudev.

  • The university which was established by the bard of the east, Rabindranath Tagore, with a view to create an alternate yet sturdy method of education has eroded over the years, and only remnants remain now. I was deeply saddened to know and understand the declining standards, especially administrative standards. I along with a few others went there for the purpose of conducting a research study on POSH Act. But to our despair, only a few cooperated with us. The Chairperson of the Internal Complaints Committee did not want to divulge information relating to sexual harrassment cases in the University. She did not even bother to respond to my calls. This administrative high-handedness along with the seeming degradation in the academic standards gives me a feeling that everything is not well there and some urgent intervention is required.

  • Very well maintained place. This is the most sophisticated institute for study literarure in west bengal. The area is surrounded by full of greeneries. Very healthy place for a weekend visit.

  • This is really a cultural hub. Perfect place to learn about multiple art forms
