Visitors who are interested in spending their time camping and hiking during their trip should definitely visit the place once. Also known as Seven Lakes National Park, the place got this unique name from the fact that it has seven different lakes residing within it. It offers trekking paths, camping zones and rest houses along with hot springs and barbeque centres. The park has a rich landscape which is evident in its multicolored forest and rich flora and fauna. The park has numerous animals including deer, pigs, and wolves, which are very well preserved and is open for public to watch. Not to forget the ski resorts that are considered to be the best in country. The colors and charm definitely makes it as place one would not like to miss.

  • Overcrowded... Not a campsite but a gathering point for some runaway big city people. No safety until morning. Noise all night. Drunk people around, singing, shouting, cheering around fire. Dirty premises. Definitely not worth the money and travel. Absolutely not recommended for a peaceful camping weekend. The only good thing is the amazing nature.

  • it is a really heaven on Earth... it is the best landscape that I had ever seen

  • It's an awsome place to hang out especially if you really want to connect with nature and its elements. I visited in October and it was crowded. I can imagine how congested this place could be if I visited during the summer months! One challenge that was obvious was the failure of people to park vehicles at the designated parking areas which I consider inadequate. The road to the lakes is about 38 km (approximately 1 hour drive), narrowed and meandered with a lot of sharp bends. Visitors need to be extra careful with inattentive drivers. Again, when leaving the Park, it's advisable to use the road to Mengen; it is less congested eventhough it was longer and many portions were in bad state except for the last 8 km that was recently resurfaced. The road back to Bolu though was good but the gridlock one might experience would eventually be regrettable. Therefore, early departure is highly recommended!

  • Best place to visit in November. But very crowded on weekends.

  • Not a bad place for camping, but the road is a little problematic. You can't have barbecue or make a fire but there are bathroom and a place where you can eat if you aren't prepared. Although I suggest you to bring your food with you.
