Endowed with a tropical climate, Bonito can be visited any time of the year. The weather here remains humid and tropical, and hot and rainy between October and March, which might be the best period to visit the region. Between June and August, the weather is dry and cold, and night temperatures may go below 10ºC. The annual average temperature is 22ºC.
Winters: The Brazilian winter lasts for only three months from June to August. The temperature varies within a year with monthly averages in winter between 13 and 18 degrees Celsius (55 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit). On an average, the coolest month is June.
Summers: Summer spans from December to February in Bonito. During the summer, temperatures can reach 30 to 40 degrees Celsius (86 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) but the soaring temperatures are accompanied by frequent showers and a rather heavy humidity. On an average, the warmest month is March.
Rains: Most rainfall (rainy season) is seen in January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November and December. November remains the wettest month while July is the driest month.
