The Myrtle Falls is located inside the Mount Rainier National Park. Tumbling down 72 feet into a rugged gorge with the snow-capped Mount Rainier in the background. One of the most photographed places inside the park, this trail will treat you to many surprises. The falls can be reached from both the Skyline Trail and Golden Gate Trail falls.
Myrtle Falls Trail Reviews & Ratings
This is the perfect short hike for all skills and ages. While the climb up gets a little steep, it isn't very long and the falls at the top are beautiful. Because it is an easy hike, there are generally a lot of visitors so if you want a more challenging, less travelled trail, this isn't for you. But, I love it for a quick mountain walk.
Great, short trail. Well maintained and beautiful surroundings. It does go up hill so be aware of that.
Plenty of Parking. Paved flat trail till the bridge. The trail gets steepish from there. Not super great views of the falls but pretty nice. Snow creek Falls is much nicer just down the road but this trail is shorter.
Beautiful hike and pretty easy. My hiking app recorded .6 miles and 60ft to get to the falls.
Great hike! Beautiful scenery! Would walk again.
