  • After several disappointing meals in Paris, the rustic charm of La Tupina could not be resisted. Every course, every wine was so flavourful and fragrant, and the atmosphere is both intimate and romantic. The service was also very good, and my lack of French did not lead to a disappointing experience.

  • My father saw this restaurant recommended in a Rick Steve show and he was ecstatic to try it out. We arrived and were made to wait 15 minutes for an open table inside. Once inside, it was incredibly cramped. I had to keep moving my chair so the waiters wouldn’t hit me when they passed. I ordered the chicken and it was absolutely terrible. Tough meat and barely edible. My father got the duck and it was pretty good (it tasted like steak to me). I expected more of a place featured on a show.

  • Ok ... let's get the negative out of the way first - it's a little expensive. €25 - €30 for a main course. So if you are going to visit then make sure you are comfortable with the prices. But apart from that, it's amazing. A truly lovely little restaurant serving local food, excellently prepared and served by friendly, attentive staff. It's a real gem. I had the lamb which was great, and my girlfriend had the octopus which she really enjoyed. We loved our visit and we highly recommend it. If you get the chance you should go there. I'm sure you'll love it as much as we did.

  • This is the second time we have been here and it was every bit as good this time as last. The food was outstanding and the service attentive and friendly. Couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic!

  • We stumbled upon this restaurant which was quite full and managed to get a table, even without reservation. Thankfully we did, as the food and ambiance were excellent. My girlfriend had roasted duck and rates it as the best duck she has ever eaten!
