New England Conservatory Jordan Hall Reviews & Ratings
Beautiful spot. We sat in the front row, upper balcony. at first it seems like it would be hard to see what's going on on the stage but it's a nice view of everything. There is a garage to park at right next to the hall, so that was convenient.
Beautiful, landmark concert hall with amazing acoustics and an intimate ambience, especially considering its size. Wonderful performances occur throughout the year in this hall, and music lovers NEED to experience this space! Many of the concerts are free too, as the hall is part of New England Conservatory of Music, and faculty and students of the highest caliber perform there regularly.
Gorgeous venue with perfect acoustics and music that was nothing short of sublime. I would absolutely go back here next time I'm in Boston. A+
Acoustically, Jordan Hall is marvelous. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. _However_, to achieve that, the outer rows of seats are tilted, worse as you approach the stage. Feels very odd until you figure out how to position yourself (basically, swivel toward the stage, if your neighbor will let you.)
Acoustics in this hall are one of the best in America. Seats can be tight but there are some on the aisles that are adequate for longer legs. Concessions are limited with no alcohol. That being said, it's one of the most beautiful halls in have ever seen.
