  • Great hotel. Got a good deal for Boston on hotels tonight, maybe 160 a night or so. Worth it for sure. Great, quiet neighborhood. Easy walking to Pru area. Great to have discounted/validated parking for a nearby garage. We paid about 28 bucks a night for it. Bathroom were a bit small and room was also small, but cozy and comfortable. Would stay again

  • Upsides: The staff have been really nice. The free safe is nice, as is the hairdryer. Being able to turn the air conditioner on and off is nice. Downsides: The mattresses in the two twin bed room were really firm and squeaky. The wifi doesn't really work on Apple phones, although it works fine on my Android phone. The room is incredibly small, has a small clothing rack in the open in lieu of a closet, and there is no fridge.

  • This is a perfectly located hotel in quiet neighborhood that is just a walk away from the more bustling parts of the city. The room was small but clean and the staff was pleasant. Because it is not over-priced, it is a great place to stay if you are on a budget.

  • Service was a bit slow. The rooms are clean but small, the bed comfortable but the sheets were a little rough and worn. Quite are and we slept well thus the 4 stars.

  • This was my 2nd visit to Boston and my husband's first. I'd stayed at the Hilton earlier and found the area around it didn't have much personality. This time I wanted a smaller place with a taste of non-tourist Boston. Location wise, Chandler is 6 stars: There are a multitude of small, wonderful restauarants, clubs and cafes less than 10 minutes from the door. And it's a little further to downtown Boston's theater district and historical stuff. The Chandler has some pretty small rooms, with Ninja level, Ikea show room style efficiency tricks to make the rooms work. The two of us tend to overpack, and despite the room not having a closet, all worked out fine because of the cool garment rack. The bed was comfy, there were plenty of outlets for charging things and the decor was clean and pleasant. The bathroom is also small, if you're a thicker person you might feel closed in, but we didn't. The marble tile made it look grand, and the glass shower helped the small room work. There is coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7 and a 7-11 2 minutes down the street. The sounds of other TV's was audible through the walls of the adjoining rooms in the evening, but it didn't keep us awake. We were on the 4th floor and didnt hear a peep from the lively bar on the first floor either. The staff ranged from super friendly to respectfully aloof. No one was rude or mean. Those cost was much less than most of the surrounding hotel's. The only concession, in my opinion is the smaller room. If your plans mean you won't be there much, this place fits the bill and more! Especially with the restaurant in its lobby.
