The Marriott Boston Custom House Reviews & Ratings
We spent two nights here. While very expensive to your average American, I price-shopped and it was actually pretty comparable (or better) to other downtown hotels. Yes apparently it's a time share but we only got one call about that prior to our arrival, no mention at the desk. The location is perfect. We took the blue line in from Logan. The hotel was literally steps away from the stop and a convenient walk to so many of our touristy areas we had planned. The building is gorgeous, the staff is friendly. Take a tour of the top few floors for the observation area, the kids area, and even free laundry facilities. The only issue we had was controlling the temperature in our room. It was a loft room and you just can't do it. If we stayed again I would not want a loft room.
One of the nicest hotels in Boston in my opinion. The history and location of the hotel can not be beat. The staff is very friendly and was excellent with assisting my group and parking their exotic cars out front. Highly recommend this hotel.
The most convenient location to all key historical and cultural sights and to the North End and wharf. Luxurious spotless rooms. Friendly staff.
First time at this Marriott. Lovely place, perfect location. Staff is so helpful, pleasant and friendly. We visited the bar and were greeted by Eunice. A sweet lady. Such a pleasant evening in a quiet setting.
Our favorite timeshare to stay at in Boston. The blue line aquarium subway stop is right across the street making access to all Boston attractions very convenient. Fanual hall and Quincy market are a short walk away. North end Italian restaurants are a bit longer walk. Mike's pastry shop is right in the center of the Italian action. Marriott has musicians performing many nights a week on the 1st floor. Valet parking is $45 a night, but more reasonable parking is available at post office square about 4 blocks away. We park at Wonderland for $15 a day and take the T in for $1.10.
