The Abbaye De Vauclair nestled in the Mystical Triangle rises to the northern slope of Chemin des Dames. Once a Cistercian abbey, the Abbaye De Vauclair is now in ruins and a popular historical monument. It was found by St Bernard of Clairvaix during 12nd century with the name of Clara Vallis. It faced heavy damage in the World War I but still stands with its archaeological glory. The medicinal plant garden, pear and apple orchard and the arboretum around the ruins are also quite enjoyable.
