Boulder Public Library Reviews & Ratings

  • Why should anyone have to pay for parking at a library? I think it is awful the first thing that you see is a sign that says you get to park and use their facilities hour for free!! As a teacher I think access to information at a public library should be as accessible as possible! There are many people for whom that would NOT work! You are not that special Boulder, and it reaffirms the idea that Boulder likes to ticket people or sue people. Shame on you for not making your library welcoming for everyone!

  • I love the spaciousness, the reading days with lots of activities and interaction, the children play area and how I can slip over and grab a quick coffee and snack then be right back in the children’s area. A lot to offer.

  • I really enjoyed this public library and what it has to offer. I'm new to the area and needed a place to work and the library offered everything I needed and more. It's true that paying for parking and only being able to park for 3 hrs is a hassle but ypu can park for free on 9th Street if you find a spot. Only a few feet from the library. In the library you will find a cafe with very friendly employees serving great coffee and food. You have the views of the mountains and the river that actually runs under the library and off course all the books you will ever need to read.

  • Beautiful library will tons of amenities. It's easy to just spend a few hours here relaxing. Building 61 is amazing. I don't have much money and no room to buy and rent expensive machines for crafts and projects, so it's a huge help to be able to use almost anything I could want here. Comparable to the resources I had in art school. Staff are also very helpful in providing assistance and advice. Only thing I would complain about is noise level. Often the children don't seem limited to the kid's area for loud play and can echo into the other parts of the library.

  • Nice place . Friendly and well organized. They have a cafe inside. They also had a live cello when I visited.
