One of the best palaeontology museums of the world is the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. Its exhibits are dedicated to the natural history of America and features the complete skeleton of a T. rex. The largest collection of dinosaur fossils in the United States is found in this museum. Some of the special exhibits in the museum’s collection include the largest Tyrannosaurus skull and the thigh bone of a Tyrannosaurus rex. This marvellous collection has led to the museum being a part of the Montana Dinosaur Trail. Not just pre-historic animals, you can learn a lot about pre-historic man here too. The Enduring People’s exhibit at the museum deals with the life of Native Americans as they lived in the nearby mountains. Periodically, the Living History Farm exhibits a farmhouse from the previous centuries. The museum also airs shows about this history in the Taylor Planetarium. Do not forget to check out the Tinsley House, maintained as a living history museum.

Museum Of The Rockies, Bozeman Reviews - Write a Review
Well displayed, as well the lay out is easy to go wherever you want in the museum. Also the attention to detail and pinpointing on displays where they where found was amazing. They also offered more elaborate displays off more recent history. Definitely check in to this place. It is well worth the $14 admission fee.
I loved this place! I feel a little smarter after visiting the museum. It was great to see good explanations next to the items. I've read almost all of them and many times I found myself thinking "wow, I didn't know that!". I saw the Escher universe movie at the planetarium and it was very good. Staff was very friendly and asked me where I was from and made a little chat. Keep up the great work!
One of the best (and most up to date) dinosaur exhibits in the world, along with a few interesting historical exhibits including some old cars and stagecoaches. Everything included with admission (even the planetarium!), which is valid for 2 days... Wish all museums worked like that!
Amazing museum. Probably one of our favorites as we've traveled this beautiful country and have seen many museum's. This museum is for all ages. Love the many dinosaur artifacts and displays. Very interesting and well done. Can do in a couple hours. Excellent interactive things for kids especially the Yellowstone room.
