The Museu Da Cidade was inaugurated in 1960 on the same day of the inauguration of Brasilia, as the oldest museum of the Capital to preserve the historical works of the construction process of Brasillia. The Museu Da Cidade was designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer in the Three Powers Square. The east facade of the museum features the Juscelino head made by Jose Pedroza as well as the famous inscription by the president. You will get to know about the chronology regarding the interiorization of the capital inscribed on the west facade along with the significant dates. The permanent collection of the museum includes inscriptions and historical photographs along with the permanent inscriptions on the walls.
