Located in the downtown area and the commercial hub of the city, the Unirea Shopping Centre is flooded with shops that sell books clothes, accessories, shoes, fragrance and everything else you can imagine! The centre was the largest department store in Communist Romania during the 1980’s.

Today, its has become a favourite hangout space for youngsters. The mall is surrounded by a number of restaurant and cafes where you can drop by for a bite. There are two bars in the malls where you can stop for a few drinks along with a bowling alley and a gaming section where you can unwind with friends and family.

The place is ideal for gift shopping and if you want the genuine ‘downtown’ experience.

  • There is an absolutely amazing terrace on the rooftop of this mall. The panorama is breathtaking!.It is absolutely charming to spend a few hours there with your favourite drinks and friends...

  • Deserted place, only a few stores opened (5% of total capacity opened), but awesome disscounts and friendly people.

  • A fairly empty place. Hardly any shops, some okay fast food places on the top floor. Bar and lunge looked nice but didn't go in. Only place that there seemed to be any people

  • Nothing to do or to see there. There are sort of Pubs on the 4th floor.

  • Just like Mall Unirea from Bucharest, only smaller, when I went there it was pretty empty (about 2 weeks after it was opened), I suppose now you have enough things to see there, there's a nice café on the top floor with outside space, it's really cozy and they have good cocktails, if you happen to go through the mall and feel thirsty you should give it a try.
