The Apollo Bridge runs over the Danube river and is loved for its modern design and is named so after an oil refinery located on the river’s left bank during the World War II.

Constructed from 2003 and opened for use in 2005, the bridge is one of the modern marvels of Bratislava and you will often find people taking a picture with it’s the iconic structure.

The bridge is also considered one of the prettiest bridges in the city!
