Constructed as a tribute to the saints who saved many lives during the Plague in Slovakia, the Holy Trinity Column can be best describes as ‘art for a cause’.
The top most part of the sculpture depicts God leaning on the globe and his Son who is killing the devil with the cross. The lower part of the tall sculpture represents the saints including, Saint Roch, Saint Charles Borromeo, Saint Andrew, Saint Mary – the Immaculate, Saint Stephen and La Santuzza (The Little Saint), who helped the people of Slovakia through trying times.

Touristic attraction of historical interest.
It a nice sculpture with a strong symbolism linked to the end of the Plague. It is also a reference point at one end of the pedestrian area.
This is a nice momentum with perfectly crafted statues. You can also have a stroll on the walking street towards the National Theater in a peaceful environment surrounded with a lot of trees and historical buildings.
