Functioning as a Jewish Culture Centre till 1991, the museum became an independent museum in 1994 and covers all the aspects of the Jewish culture including spirituality, documentation of the Holocaust in the Slovak region, objects used every day by the Jewish common man and Jewish art among other highlights.
