Oskar Blues Brewery Reviews & Ratings
Best brewery experience I’ve ever had. Burger was delicious. Taproom experience was even better. Megan was so nice and helpful, as this was our first time in the area. Give that girl a raise!
Stopped in after a day of kayaking the French Broad. The staff are chill and the beer was good. They are part of a beer collective, so they had some beers on draft they brew for other brands that I wasn’t expecting. More quality craft beer is always a good thing. Outdoor games, dogs, sound stage, and food (did not sample). Good mix of people enjoying themselves. Note: There is a taproom upstairs inside if you want to purchase items for take away.
Love the outside bar and cornhole area! The tables are under roof but still enjoy the breeze. It's a large brewery but we didn't wait until 4:00 for the tour since my father in law was getting tired. We got fries from their food truck and they were pretty decent. They offer a large selection of their own beers, collaborations with other local breweries, and a couple of wines and hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic sodas. My husband loved the ginger beer.
Cool oasis of a brewery. Had some great beers. Outside was nice. However, the band that was playing that night was way too loud. We were in the back of the outdoor seating and we couldn't even talk easily too each other. We brought our dog wasn't pleased about it either. Just need to be aware of it.
*EDIT: OB went above and beyond to solve the issue below We bought one of those $7 Wild Basin glasses from the gift shop. There were a bunch on the shelf but a few were already wrapped in tissue. We decided to make things easier for the cashier and get one of those so she didnt have to wrap it up. Well, when we got home we find out the Wild Basin etching was half worn off. Wonder why that was one of the pre wrapped glasses... but we live too far to go switch it out. The least we can do is share our experience for your own good. Don't trust their gift shop.
