  • Brilliant. Visited here quite a few times. Dog friendly seating area undercover outside. Service and food have always been great. I don't have a sweet tooth but the cakes on display look amazing if you're into sweet things.

  • Friendly staff, prompt service and overall, reasonably priced. The dinner we had was excellent. Their menu could be be a bit longer, but there are specials on offer.

  • Usually a wonderful experience. Bit sad that birthday lunch experience was disappointing. First choice for lunch turned out to be from an old menu, so not available. New menu selection is far less adventurous, we travelled 35 miles, ended up with a burger, which was very good indeed, but fries were soggy, replaced with sweet potato ones which were good, but burger gone by that time.... please don't let standards slip JJ, you're one of our favourite places!

  • Very nice place for a Sunday night supper We ate next to a lot of locals. Great meals, nicely prepared, good service, not pretentious.

  • I ordered two takeaway bacon and egg rolls and a latte on our way home from camping at the Witches Craig campsite nearby. It cost £11, more than half the cost of a night's camping but the staff didn't turn a hair at my dishevelled appearance and the bacon was superlative. We'd go again.
