Beautiful grounds and building. Very helpful and friendly staff who always had a smile and happy to help. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and I'd highly recommend braving the tunnel tour.
A must, for history lovers. Helped by the great film, and the guided tour. There is also a interesting museum at the top of the house. Spent about 2 hours there, I do like to read all information.
The coffee shop right next to the House is amazing!
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing; of course when you're on vacation in Barbados! When visiting in the island, this is something that is a MUST. Depending on how much of a history buff you are, this is like heaven on earth for American history and especially how it connects with Barbados. It gives you a lot of background on the history of George Washington, his brother Lawrence and the plantations. It also goes into detail with a movie and a tour of the tunnels that connected the house to the Garrison. Great experience; awesome tour guide with the voice of a God!
