The Morgan Lewis Windmill overlooking the Morgan Lewis Beach and the North Atlantic Ocean dates back to the 1700’s when it acted as a sugarcane mill. Among the two operating Sugar windmills in the world, the Morgan Lewis Windmill now acts as a museum holding artifacts regarding the plantations and the sugar mill as well as exhibits of the old photographs. From February till July, the “crop” season commences and during this period the sails of the mill are put in proper place. One Sunday in every month, grinding of canes takes place to provide cane juice to the visitors.
