Big Red Strawberry Farm, Cameron Highlands Reviews
The place itself is really quick to visit. Lettuce on the left, strawberries on the right. It's rather small. There are a little restaurant with transformed strawberry products, I would stick to trying the fresh strawberries since the other products do not taste good. This activity can be done fairly quickly.
Hm, we really wanted to pick strawberries ourselves especially as the one grown here are to be picked from from where you don't have to bend all the time to pick them from the ground. But we were told that it is not the season and there were not enough fruit to go self picking . We could of course go to the shop and buy strawberry products. .. Which we did in the end and the ice cream as well as the fried strawberry flavoured ice cream were very nice. The farm itself looked very well kept and organised. If you know when strawberry season is on - go for it !
Weather is perfect. Place is superb. It is very clean with lots of fresh strawberries and vegetables. There are many species of flowers all over the farm. Have a good walk and enjoy the super delicious pastries at the cafe.
1 stop center in regard of Strawberry. You may find a lot of interesting food in this place in Malaysian ways.. U can shop varieties of cactus and others.. Really suggested if you visit Cameron Highlands..
The best place to view how salads are planted. There is also pluck your own strawberry at minimum half kilo at RM 50 per kg. Word of caution: u can buy the same strawberry at much cheaper price, at Kea Farm market at RM 30/kg.
