Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane Reviews - Write a Review
Service is average. I had to ask for another room key card as mine was not working, and the first thing I received was a lecture as to why it was my fault. They hold $100 of your money in case you use the mini bar (which is worth about $30). And you will not get it back for approximately a week. It's like walking into a supermarket and being charged for what you might buy. And $15 a night for parking is another outrageous cost. And don't even get me started on the bad coffee and over priced food. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at any other hotel in Brisbane.
I am blessed to live close to the Roma street park. It is the best park in BRISBANE without doubt. Thanks to the guys who keep it looking so good.
Lots of space to run around and walkways to explore. BBQs and seating are also plentiful, as are toilets. There is a great kids playground and the spectacle garden is beautiful. During school holidays they have lots of activities for kids and run a cute train around the park which you can ride for free.
Good shady parking during the day when I normally visit. Easy to access. Fav spot is down by the pond/lake area. Great to be amongst all the green. You forget you are in the middle of a city
This really is a great green space in the heart of the city. Perfect for a stroll, to play a game of soccer, have a picnic, whatever. Play areas for the kids and the gardens are amazing.
