Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane Reviews

  • What an amazing place. We visited with our overseas guests during the Christmas period when it was all lit up. What a tremendous amount of work they had put in to this stunning display. They had movies on the lawn, food trucks and people were welcome to bring their own picnics. It is on a hill so pushing a manual wheelchair or pushchair is very hard going.

  • Lots of space to run around and walkways to explore. BBQs and seating are also plentiful, as are toilets. There is a great kids playground and the spectacle garden is beautiful. During school holidays they have lots of activities for kids and run a cute train around the park which you can ride for a gold coin donation.

  • An Amazing park land. Many flowers and water. Nice show on Enchanted Garden. It is really a great work from Brisbane City Council. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. After walk around the parkland, you can watch movie at outdoor cinema.

  • Very tranquil and inviting space within the heart if Brisbane. The gardens have been meticulously maintained. There are a number of lawns divided by the different walks which all offer something a very beautiful no matter which direct you choose to go. The water features provide a nice escape from the summer heat. There are a number of BBQ stations allowing for a family dinner or lunch time get to gether. Kid and pet friendly. There is something for everyone in this amazing spot within the heart of the CBD. Very close to public transport, ample parking for its location along with disabled access at different points through the park. Also a great location for a family bike ride.

  • Great park pretty much in the middle of the city. Varied parts to the park from the gardens to rainforest to open air auditorium. Lots of interesting wildlife and equally great flowers / trees throughout. Well serviced with toilets, drinking water fountains and eating / snack places. Great for showing another side to Brisbane.
