La Focaccia is another option and this cafe offers fantastic views. The breakfast is tasty and the environment here is relaxing. Their prawn and avocado salad is mouthwatering. Oceanic Gelati Bar is a coffee shop that serves strong coffee at any time of the day. you can also order your ice cream here. You can also go to Domain Cafe or Amis. Amis combines North African and Asian dishes and they use fresh local produce. They will not disappoint you. Festivals and Events The biggest day on the Stradbroke Island calendar is undoubtedly the Straddie Salute Multisport Festival. Featuring 3 events over 2 action-packed days it has become a “must-do” weekend for anyone and everyone in the immediate area comprising of a crystal clear ocean swim, a beautifully scenic adventure run/walk and the ultimate off-road challenge: The Straddie Salute Off-road Triathlon.

Also look out for the Lines in the Sand Music Festival in June/July and the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel Seafood Festival in August.
