Amis combines North African and Asian dishes and they use fresh local produce. They will not disappoint you. Festivals and Events The biggest day on the Stradbroke Island calendar is undoubtedly the Straddie Salute Multisport Festival. Featuring 3 events over 2 action-packed days it has become a “must-do” weekend for anyone and everyone in the immediate area comprising of a crystal clear ocean swim, a beautifully scenic adventure run/walk and the ultimate off-road challenge: The Straddie Salute Off-road Triathlon.
