The Stonehenge is one of the most renowned prehistoric monuments in Wiltshire, England which is believed to have been built in several stages. It consists of a circle of standing stones, with each of the standing stone approximately 6 feet 11 inches (2.1 metres) wide, 13 feett (4.1 metres) high and weighing somewhere around 25 tons. It is said to have been erected in the late Neolithic period at around 2500 BC.
