The Conservation Club of Kenosha County is one of most popular outdoor shooting ranges in Bristol. There are various ranges here where you can practice – rifle, pistol, shotgun, archery along with various other events fields. The set up is well maintained and is apt for practising. In case you run out of your ammo or the targets, you can purchase them here. You can get a membership card if you wish to but the non-membership fee is reasonable as well. Overall, the range has a rustic feel and would give you the opportunity to meet new people.

  • I tend to shoot at the shotgun range. It’s a great crowd with many knowledgeable members that can give pointers or advice when needed. If you shoot more than a couple times a year it’s worth getting the membership to get a discounted rate on shooting and the option of bringing your own ammunition. I have shot at the pistol range and think that the people could be a little more friendly however they do keep things safe. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • I am a member of this club and a Range Safety Officer as well. I joined three years ago when I retired. A great place to shoot pistol, rifles, shotguns, black powder, western-style guns, air rifles, etc. This place is convenient to get to, reasonably priced to shoot for the day, and provides Safety Officers to help assure that everyone is safe while shooting. They are also can be very helpful when anyone needs to sight-in their equipment for accurate shooting. Everyone is thankful for the members, and the guests who come and shoot for the day. I highly recommend you give them a try next time you want to do some shooting!

  • The shotgun range is awesome! Very safe and friendly environment. The RO’s, Pullers, & Counter Staff are excellent! As a new shooter (and new member), everyone there from the staff to the customers, are willing to help you in any way to make you a better shooter. Just a great place to shoot some clays and meet new people!

  • Excellent first time out. First stop was the shotgun range. I had never shot trap before, but Yevtte at the counter and Bill the range officer were absolutely wonderful, making my friend and I feel very welcome. Bill spent some time with us, showing us the rules for trap and some great tips to get us started. Shot a few rounds on our own and before long we were on the five stand with some experienced shooters having an awesome time. For the second half of the day we shot at the rifle / pistol range, which was busy, but in no way felt crowded. I regret not getting everyone's name at the rifle range, as we struck up a conversation with just about everyone working, and they were all great. The ranges were clean, well organized, and overall just a great place to shoot. Without a doubt will be putting in for membership.

  • I know the staff is very respectful, and friendly and enjoy my time at the range! You have follow the rules of the range, and keep in mind safety first, alot of people have not grown up handling guns, so it's all new to them, you have learn and remember!
