Located on the shores of the North Atlantic Ocean, the Independence Park encompasses four acres on the Bristol Harbor and offers a great opportunity for boating. The park is equipped with a boat launching ramp, concrete paved trails, board walks, fountains and many more. At the north tip of the Thames Street and at the starting of the East Bay Bike Path, the Independence Park offers a breath-taking sunset from the harbour. A large gravel laden beach in the park can be accessed via the two lane concrete slabs. From here you can launch the hand-carried boats and kayaks.
