Zoo Brno - Review
Tour routes of more than 7 km in length over an area of 65 hectares takes you through this rather unexpected pleasure. Many hundreds of animals covering birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibian and fish reside here. If you want a look at their complete bestiary, go tot eh zoo website. Plans of r the zoo began in 1935, but it was slow to get off the ground, as it was hard to get land for the purpose. Finally deciding on the area known as Monk’s Mountain, work began on the zoo in 1950, and it wasn’t until 2000 that the zoo entered the membership of the World Zoo Organisation. Several important preservation programmes are conducted here for animals like the little out and the European ground squirrel, and also international projects like the Kura-Kura – Turtles in Danger.

Zoo Brno, Brno Reviews
Wonderful and quit... It is considered for me as perfect for short hiking trip... The prices for water "35" coffee "20" a meal at the restaurant there "109" and "120" for the ticket are reasonable
There is plentiful free parking 100m down the road. Good public transport links. Be prepared for a walk, the zoo is on the side of a hill! All the animals look happy enough with big enough enclosures. Not a massive zoo, but more than big enough for a brilliant trip!
We spent more than 4 hours, we saw different animals, fishes, birds, plants... We had also a tasty lunch in the restaurant in the Zoo park. We keep very good memories and photos from this amazing place!
Great! With a lot of attractions for kids. It takes almost whole day to see all the animals and walk through the ZOO. Good food at the tiger restaurant plus a lot of different food stands. It's open all year round. From 9 am.
An excellent experience watching so many different animals at one place. Hats off to the zoo management for maintaining a serene environment for the animals.
