The Sweden Town Park in the Monroe County with its various sports features, dog park and picnic pavilions can be a great escape from the bustling town. The sports features of the park include seven baseball diamonds, one lighted baseball field of regulation size which is open for evening use, six soccer fields, a sand volleyball court, a lighted football field, a skate park and a disc golf course. The 18-hole par 56-disc golf course is heavily wooded and set up on almost a flat terrain. The skate park of Sweden Town Park is used by the rollerblades and skateboarders. Open from dawn till dusk, the pavilion by the pond has access to the restrooms and the concession stands.
