Brooklyn Wildlife Area is spread over three-thousand-acres. The vast land offers many recreational activities. It is a paradise for hikers. Though there are Marshes and wetlands scattered in the park, hiking trails are relatively easy. Hunting is also allowed in here. Rabbit, deer, turkey, squirrel and mourning doves are often hunted down. If you are an enthusiastic bird-watcher, do not forget to bring a pair of binoculars. The area is open even during the Winters. Cross-country skiing on the ice-age trail is a very popular activity. Visit this park to enjoy a few hours away from the hustle bustle of the city.
