  • A great place to stay if you love the peace and quiet of nature, the accommodation is basic and great value. The beach is beautiful with pindan red cliffs meeting the stunning blue ocean, and there’s no crowds of people out there! It’s also a spectacular sight when thousands of migratory birds congregate on the shoreline at high tide. As an added bonus it’s an easily accessible place to view the dinosaur footprints, they can be viewed daily at any low tide. It’s a pleasant day trip from Broome for a picnic on the beach, bird watching or fishing, the roads are unsealed and are in good condition. Highly recommend👍

  • Perfect quiet spot if you don't mind a 30 min drive in and out of Broome. Limited small camp sites in a perfectly clean and tidy natural bush setting. Basic but serviceable toilets and showers. Staff and volunteers very welcoming and helpful. Easy walk to viewing platform over Ocean to observe birds and dolphins (if your lucky)☺️ Will definitely stay again.

  • Great location for bird enthusiasts. Staff great. Facilities good.

  • Not for everyone. This is a beautiful location for someone that loves time out from the crowds of Broome and cable beach. Very basic accomodation and camping. Its very clean and welcoming. Bring your 4wd, food, drink, binoculars, walking shoes and a desire to meet people who are interested in birds. The road in is a bit rough and unsealed but can be driven very slowly by 2wd. Some lovely walks around the observatory.

  • Great place away from the bustle of broome. Has friendly helpful staff, interesting walks and birdlife. Would stay again.
