Sacred Heart Catholic Church Reviews & Ratings
I really like the community. The only issue I have is the mass schedule. The English language mass is at 9:00 am. The Spanish language mass is at 11:00. IMO I feel that the English language mass should have the more popular and convenient mass time.
The new priest is awesome. Lots of spiritual healing going on
Blessed parish with Father Noel !!!
I used to attend this parish when the head Pastor was Father Paul Ward. He is one of the most holy, reverant pastors I have ever known. His homilies always mentioned heaven, hell, sin, judgement and the awful state that humanity was living. His homlies reminded his parishioners to live holy lives because God is holy. He celebrated the mass very reverrantly and with the up most respect. Father Ward always used paton's during Holy communion. He had great reverance for the Holy Eucharist and never let a particle of the precious body of Christ fall to the ground. He also had kneelers at Sacred Heart. Yes kneelers. Something you never see in most churches today. If holy scripture says that every knee will bend and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, than how much more should a Catholic kneel when receiving the Holy Eucharist? Father Ward was the only Pastor there and offered confession 7 days a week! That sacrament is very difficult to find in other Catholic parishes! Father Ward has been reassigned to Wyoming Catholic College and he is highly and sorely missed.
The old pastor was moved and the new one is not good. A shame how a great church community was broken by a bad pastor.
