Brownsville, a city in Cameron County, is located in the southernmost tip of Texas along the US-Mexican border. The area comes under the large ecologically sensitive zones. The city is home to Resaca de la Palma State Park, a part of the famous World Birding Center. Countless migratory birds are spotted every year in this park. This state park offers visitors with hiking and biking trails, fishing, and bird watching opportunities. Apart from this, the city is home to the 1,200-acre semitropical bushland, which is the largest natural preserve of the part system.
