  • This was a gem my wife and I just happened to find last minute. We got there as soon as it opened and the woman who owns it was nice enough to seat us even though you usually need a reservation. It was a great meal and the owner was friendly and had a sarcasm that made us feel right at home. Its always nice to be able to joke with someone and they joke right back. The atmosphere was so cozy and quaint. If I lived in Bruges I would eat here all the time. I wish all the places we visited in Belgium were just like Bistro Pro Deo. Can't wait to visit again!

  • The lady who works here was very friendly and welcoming. We came here late on a busy Saturday without a reservation and was able to get a table here. The food is traditionally Flemish and local which was exactly what we wanted but it was just by chance that this was what the restaurant offered as we had done no prior research. The decor here is all wonderfully 50's and retro chic, even to the restroom. The food was reasonably priced, the portions were large and the food was absolutely delicious, home style cooking and hence very comforting. I would recommend this place and would come back here again. Their is the option for indoor and outside dining.

  • The mussels were delicious! The restaurant is at a quiet part of the town. A little pricey but the dish was a very generous portion!

  • The location is quite a far walk from the center of town, but the decor inside is very nice and retro-themed. The food is pretty good, but not outstanding (hence the 4 stars) and it's quite pricy (~20 euros for every main dish). On the bright side, the service is nice and quick, and the owner is very kind and welcoming.

  • Squeezed us in on a Saturday night which was really appreciated. Absolutely loved everything about this place! The food was fresh and hearty and extremely well priced for the portion size and for Bruges. The decor and loos were excellent and put a smile on our faces. The most memorable part was the host, so friendly and welcoming. Food highlight of the trip for sure.
