The beautiful park museum, spread over an area of 69,000 square feet, is packed with great insights into country’s culture, industry, and history. For anyone who desires to delve deep into the Baton Rouge’s roots must definitely give this place a visit. The museum is home to two varied exhibits serving two different purposes. One is entitled as the ‘Grounds for Greatness: Louisiana and the Nation’ and the other is called ‘Experiencing Louisiana: Discovering the Soul of America’. While the first one is fiercely dedicated to highlighting the historical moments of the country, the latter focuses on the cultural aspects and its growing influence around the region. There is another section solely dedicated to the musical history of the country that is a must see. Come here and explore all about the daring explorers, monumental battles, artistic legacy and more, in short everything that makes Baton Rouge such a huge hype amongst the travelers.

My boyfriend and I visited the museum on a Thursday which gave us ample time to linger at each exhibit and just relish the history and time we spent learning about this great state. We have been here for two n half years working and travel nationwide but absolutely love the rich history of Louisiana. If you have a chance take the time to stand still and learn.
Amazing!!! My family and I lucked out the day we went because it was free! Fantastic beautiful place to visit literally every age will enjoy and I have 3 kids under 4 👍😁
