This nearly three kilometer long thoroughfare is the mecca of of upscale fashionable shopping in Belgium. But before diving into the many stores - Chanel, Vuitton, Hermes, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace and Christian Dior - have a look at the street itself, especially the area with trees, starting at Stephanie Square. The place practically reeks of wealth. That said, there are a lot of affordable boutiques in the area too. Eat at one of the many restaurants after your shopping. Check out the bronze sculpture "Le Phenix 44" at King’s Garden, the statues at Selys Longchamps Square, and the Louise Bottleneck area, source of Brussels’ infamous traffic jams.
