Sunset Point, Bryce Reviews

  • Wow! This place doesn’t get enough global attention. A really cool and beautiful place in the world with easily a full day of exploring. Drive up access. Relatively empty compared to more mobbed tourist attractions like, say, Horsehoe Bend. Went in December and the snow gave it added dimension that just enhanced the beauty. Although the snowy paths were pretty slippery if your shoes don’t have great grip so be careful! Be there at sunrise to see the maximum beauty of the location. And the Red Canyon leading into Bryce Canyon is almost just as scenic and totally unique.

  • The bathrooms were clean- they have a bottle refill station and the sights were absolutely beautiful! I had such a good time! I'll definitely be back.

  • Pretty awesome view! The other view I like is rainbow point. But definitely this is a great panoramic view of the canyon. Bring a wide lens for sure for self portraits and a telephoto to get the scenic photography details. Best thing is the trails and scenic points are all connected and you can walk right along the rim. Take water if your gonna hike down into the canyon and a walking pole/stick for those steeper than average climbs.

  • Great place to get some fantastic pictures. Just be respectful there and don't climb on anything. The structures there are more delicate than you think. Also make sure your kids have leashes on them. They very well could run off a cliff.

  • Probably one of the most beautiful canyons in the world. Truly awesome. Hike down the canyon (we took the direction from sunrise to sunset point, which is arguably the nicer direction as you descend slower and keep the best for last). Go early (before 8.30 am) to avoid the large tourist crowds. Amazing experience.
