Foisorul De Foc - Review
Built in 1890, this 42 metre high tower was used by the fire department of the city to watch for possible emergencies. Though also intended to be used as a water tower, the local water company found that it had no pumps powerful enough to pump water up to tower's height. Turned into a Firefighter's museum in the 1960s, it is especially popular among tourists today for the observation deck on the top. The exhibits themselves are merely functional and not very engaging. Don't be surprised if you have to deal with groups of visiting kindergarteners at the tower.

Foisorul De Foc, Bucharest Reviews
