  • The great location and history surrounding this restaurant doesn’t make up for the mediocre service and barely warm to cold Romanian potatoes. One of the many restaurants that I had been recommended and had very high hopes for. I ordered a bottle of wine, lamb meatballs, and the pork ribs. I found the meatballs to be quite tasty, served and a tranches of toasted baguettes along with a type of marinara sauce. The ribs were very flavorful and coated in type of bbq sauce. The potatoes however, were inconsistent, with some being hot, to others being barely warm or borderline cold. My biggest complaint has to deal with the attention to service. I had to pour my own wine. This is unacceptable in my opinion of any restaurant that only serves wine by the bottle and otherwise, has sufficient staff walking about. I waited 5-7 minutes while several of the wait staff passed by, and looked at my table, smiled, and went on their way. In an area where there are numerous food options, most of which are similar in offerings, service and ambiance are your biggest selling factors and this location failed miserably on the service aspect during my visit. In all my interactions, I was greeted in a very cold manner. This location had clean toilets but not particularly accessible or accommodating for those with mobility impairments or children.

  • Amazing skinny sausages, a local dish that you need to try out. The Pavlova desert was also outstanding, but the service was not always great. We believe that this is due the place being really crowded. If you happen to visit in the summer, get a table outside and enjoy the live music and the good weather

  • The pavlova was truly excellent. Overall a nice meal, the live music added a lot to my enjoyment of the meal. I found it funny when the waiter didn't know that steaks are described as rare in English, his description made my day.

  • Traditional Romanian restaurant, with a good variety of classic dishes. Service was good, though I "skipped" the entrance without being recognized by the receptionist, who is handing over the menu to the guests. Therefore it took some time to actually get the menu after sitting down. The dish I had, duck breast with soft apple rings was delicious. If you are up for traditional Romanian dishes, this place can be recommended.

  • Live music but extremely noisy place so if you like to have nice chat etc. You can't hear anything. Food is also so so. Not bad but nothing special either. Staff is friendly. Nice bonus from traditional dance performances.
