This historical passage was completed in 1891. It's basically a simple forked street arcade with a yellow glass ceiling that lets in natural light and keeps out the rain. Once upon a time it was the location of the first Stock Exchange House of Bucharest. Before that, it was the location of the famous Campineanu Inn. Nowadays it's got a few good eateries. Definitely check out the Egyptian bar-restaurant, the Turkish Cafe, the hookah bars and the wine bar. Technically, since it was first built for commerce, this was the city's first shopping mall.
