Parizsi Nagyaruhaz boasts to be the first departmental store that opened up in Budapest and was made accessible to the public in the year 1910. Today, paintings by Karoly Lotz accessorize this building that is built in Art Nouveau Style. It faces a lot of important places of Budapest such as Andrassy Avenue and the location of this book cafe is quite prime. In the present day, it functions as a book-store with a really interesting cafe. You will also come across various features of Neo Renaissance in the way this cafe looks.

Alexandra Konyveshaz - Parizsi Nagyaruhaz Reviews & Ratings
Magnificent. One of the most beautiful bookshops I've ever visited. Has a posh and crowded cafe on the top floor. Also - an interesting selection of books.
The café is a must see if you are in Budapest. Great coffee, great food, and beautiful atmosphere. Will definitely be going back in the future!
Enormous bookstore, you will probably find something for your taste. There's a section for foreign language ( not hungarian ) books. You'll find souvenirs as well.
Excellent bookshop in a stunning building.. Friendly helpful staff. Well stocked. Give yourself a treat and have coffee and cake in the cafe at the top of the escalator.
An unexpected treasure in a bookstore. One of central Budapest's grandest, oldest premises, occupied by a bookstore that also sells all kinds of gifts and souvenirs. Check out the amazingly ornate cafe upstairs. Just don't expect many English books.
