Comedy Theatre Of Budapest - Review
Formerly known as Vígszinhaz, the comedy theater of Budapest was established at the turn of 19th century to 20th century. It is indeed one of the first institutions to give Hungarian theatre a completely different meaning as the drama was a lot different in the conventional Hungarian theatre. The Comedy Theatre till today stands as one of the longest running active theatres in Budapest and continues to entertain people with the offbeat and different kind of plays that are performed here.

Comedy Theatre Of Budapest, Budapest Reviews
Nice theater but one person working the concession line during intermission. By the time we got to the girl the play restarted and there was nothing but overpriced candy bars.
Amazing performances in amazing environment. The echo and the lights are really cool. You can enjoy here classic dramas in new shape with great ideas, also contemporary performances with surprising solutions. The actors and actresses are really great, even when directors' ideas are a bit strange sometimes. In my opinion it's a really great theatre, but if we would agree in everything, there wouldn't be anything to talk about.
Amazing experience. Parking is an issue, so use public transport.
I read a review about the seats directly under the control post. Men said in that review ,they could not hear anything from those seats. Now, i can tell you is not true! I could hear from there perfectly everything! And also see everyhing on stage!
The vast amount of detail on this building and interior is unbelievable. The program it offers has a good variety, sadly the interpretations often times seem to be very contemporary and too modern. Try to reach to the upper balconies at least for the view.
