Situated very close to Liberty Bridge, this amazing building is definitely worth a look. Built in the art Nouveau style this remarkable looking building has now been converted into a hotel that is managed by the Four Seasons chain of Hotels.
The Building is nothing short of majestic from inside out. The outside is a mixture of beige and dark gray while the insides manage to retain the old charm even though decorated in an ultra-modern way. the stained glass work all over the place is nothing short of breath-taking. The Gresham Palace is certainly worth a visit from the inside if you can afford it. It is possible to have dinner at one its restaurants by reservation. If not, it is certainly a thing of beauty that you can see on your walk to Freedom Bridge.
Gresham Palace is a case of Art Nouveau structural planning in the way of the Vienna Secessionists.
The Gresham Palace has a smooth front and a bended roofline, cove windows and pilasters along the front of the building. The royal residence likewise characteristics ironwork, incorporating two peacock models at the entryway of the patio.

Fantastic hotel. One of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Service is excellent, truly five star. The rooms are spacious, and beds are very comfortable. The room air conditioning is amazing even on very hot days. The bar downstairs is nice, with a great gin selection, even if the piano is a little loud and drowns out conversation a bit. The pool and spa on the top floor is a nice place to relax as well.
Fantastic hotel, keeping the traditional architecture with the modern conveniences, it is warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the rooms are spacious and very relaxing. While this was a business stay, I will certainly return to enjoy this fabulous setting again.
Unfortunatley the high expectations of the hotel were diminished as soon as we entered our room, which was the last available room at the time due to fully booked hotel. The bed in the room was positioned next to the elevator shaft, which has caused a frustrating metal squeaking noise every time the elevator moved. Highest frequencies were during the morning and night hours. The only way to describe the experience is imagining staying in some sort of motel next to a railway station, where there are constant trains passing by. Due to fully booked weekend, they could not change the room for us or somehow solve the problem, which they must have been aware of as we surely weren’t the first ones to complain about it in the past decades that this hotels exists. The room wasn’t spotless clean-wise either as you can see in the attached images, it is a bit beat up. It was pretty unfair to get such a disgusting experience in a 5 star hotel for the same 700€ that other guests in standard rooms payed, but only us getting a sleepless night. The only question is why does that room still exist in the first place and is still not turned into some kind of staff room. The room was changed the next day and perhaps in 2 hours of cleaning after previous guests, they were not bothered to wash one of the bathrobes which had hairs and concealer on it. We got a free parking complement (70€) due to inconvenience after our stay of 2 days. Being a rather frequent Budapest guests, we will probably not choose staying in this hotel again and rather find something else, the price does not match the experience. I would recommend to always check the room you are getting if you stay in this hotel and avoiding room 527. You can listen to the sound inside of the room in an attached video
One of the most beautiful hotels in Europe in terms of architecture. In terms of porter & concierge services, I would not rely that much on it. Do your own research. Unfortunately there is no Uber in Budapest so you must wait ages until they call a taxi for you. Even if so big and luxurious, Four Seasons in Budapest does not have its own fine dining restaurant. They only have the brasserie/breakfast restaurant. Lobby bar is beautiful.
Friendly staff all around. Great place for old world charm and relaxation. Delicious restaurant. You might sight a celebrity if your lucky.
