The Holy Trinity Column, although is a very pleasant sight to see but even then, it is a reminder of something very unfortunate that Budapest had to go through. The column was built in the memory of 600 victims of the plague that broke out in Budapest. The column is basically a sturdy pillar which has two statues beneath and very little beautiful angels on top. There are figures of many saints such as St Roth, St Sebastian, St Joseph, St. John of Nepomuk and St Rosalie on the column. Made out of limestone, this column has had difficulty resisting the passage of time as well as keeping up with the adverse weather changes.
