King's Hotel, Budapest Reviews - Write a Review
Clean enough hotel good location. I was woke up by kids running around the hall at 7am but it's still ok. And the bar did a decent IPA so I'm happy
Stayed here 3 nights. Good location 6 or 7 minutes walk to nearest metro. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby. It's a little outdated but still a good value budget hotel.
Good location, staff is kind and courteous, do request the staff for some advice on visiting places and also the city map. Have fun.
Unpleasant. We just missed our connecting train to Belgrade, so we had to stay one night over in Budapest. Arrived late saturday in July, this was basically the only place we could find who had a private room available for a somewhat decent price.. Staff was not very welcoming (busy chatting on their mobile phones), and the room was of a really bad standard. Old furniture, strange smells, almost no hot water etc.. Way below what you would expect for €90. We regretted not spending €10 more for some of the more well-known hotels in the area. Only ekstra star is because of the location, definitely not recommended.
Decent. Affordable and close to some of the main attractions of the city. The food is bad and the servings are too small. Rooms are tiny and not so clean as you'd expect. Mine did not have any window to the outside, not even in the bathroom, but had a large window towards a corridor. The elevator is slow and is frequently unusable for doors left open or something. Beds are uncomfortable and small. The staircase is outdoor and not heated and the outdoor hallways aren't even fully covered. Staff is kind and the receptionists speak english (waiters and attendants don't).
